Registration and Payment

How Can I Register and Pay?

1. Register online and pay online. We have an online payment system available here. Using the online system you can register and pay by credit card.

2. Register online and pay by check. Use the online system and elect to pay by check at checkout.

3. Register using paper application and pay by check. Fill out a paper application and send the application and payment to our address shown on the Contact Us page.

Is There a Deadline for Registration?

There is no strict deadline for registration. However, there are two time limits on registration:

1. We have only a limited number of slots in our Deer Valley programs. If we fill all slots, registration for Deer Valley programs will close.

2. Program fees are cheaper if paid before November 1, 2009.

What else do we need to do, other than register and pay?

1. All skiers must fill out a registration and release form for Wasatch Freestyle Foundation, Inc.

2. All skiers must join US Ski and Snowboard Association. You can join USSA online. Membership in USSA also includes membership in our regional (Intermountain) Division.

3. NOTE: YWSA is no longer is requiring YWSA Application Forms. (updated 10/10/2009)

4. The week before season opening, applicants can pick up their season pass at Deer Valley skier services. Deer Valley will also require you to sign a waiver and be photographed.

Which USSA membership should I get?

The team only requires that you be a USSA member.

The cheapest USSA membership is a a Youth Competitor membership available to skiers 12 and younger for $50. This is all you need, if you are that young and qualify for that membership.

When you register with USSA, we are Intermountain Division (division) and Wasatch Freestyle (club).

Equipment

Are there any discounts available on equipment?

Yes. Our team has long-standing relationships with the reps for many ski equipment manufacturers, including Head and Hart. They offer a full range of equipment (skis, bindings, poles, boots, helmets and bags) at heavily discounted prices. The Team will operate an Equipment Night with our vendors for team members and their families on October 27, 2009, starting at 6:00 p.m., at the Utah Olympic Park.

Deer Valley Programs

Do the Deer Valley program fees includes a ski pass?

Yes, the Deer Valley program fees include a full, unrestricted, season ski pass. Your child can use this pass throughout the season at any time, whether they are skiing with our team or free-skiing on their own.
